Job Description

  • Supervises day-to-day operations for Technical office team, and monitors projects’ plans and schedules with respect to the availability of resources and workload distribution.
  • Oversees the development of shop drawings for customized and standard products, and recommends changes when needed.
  • Handles complex and difficult client demands to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Handles Custom orders for VIP clients/Key Accounts (Retail or B2B) and identifies product specifications & client requirements (Product customization).
  • Sketches and creates designs for custom products to meet agreed upon technical specifications and client requirements.
  • Prepares detailed final designs, shop drawings and lists product parts, requirements and accessories, and sends to direct manager for approval.
  • Meets/communicates with VIP clients/Key Account Manager to secure approval on the final design, product measurements, accessories and parts.
  • Updates final drawings (if needed) based on client’s feedback and coordinates with showroom Sales Engineers to prepare the job orders for execution.
  • Oversees the production process in line with delivery date, to ensure product matches design and technical drawings.
  • Approves shop drawings, cutting lists, forms, list of product parts, requirements and accessories for standard products developed by subordinates prior to sending to Planning Engineer.
  • Reviews bill of material (BoM) developed by subordinates prior to sending to accounting department for costing.
  • Ensures product installation works at the client's site is done in compliance with technical drawings and installation processes.
  • Investigates any incidents related to production and installation processes that may lead to rework.
  • Uploads all files and drawings related to each custom product on No Limits shared folder.
  • Proactively communicates trends and ideas identified to his/her team to update them new market and industry trends and manufacturing techniques to ensure meeting customer expectations
  • Prepares a monthly status report explaining highlighting planned vs. actual and submits to direct manager for decision making and taking corrective actions.
  • Trains and provides regular feedback to his team members to enhance performance and productivity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Applied Arts or Fine Arts (Interior design)
  • 7+ years of previous experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to manage a team and develop their technical skills.
  • Excellent command of English Language.
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD and/or similar drawing and design applications.
