Product Engineer

Zamil Air Conditioners Holding Co. Ltd. one of Zamil Industrial affiliate companies and a pioneer HVAC manufacturer in GCC requires to its Cairo office TWO product designers.

• Prepare different physical layouts/ drawings of a HVAC product unit, timely and accurately, based on the specification/ instructions and in line with the relevant standards to facilitate the achievement of the Product Unit’s business objectives.
• Design the different physical layouts / drawings, through the approved software, as per the instructions of the Product Engineer within the approved department procedures, technologies, and engineering practices.
• Carry out the necessary calculations, using the different engineering standards and guidelines to ensure design correctness and achieve warranty cost reductions. 
• Interact with the Product Engineers to ensure the designs meet the parameters for which they are made and ensure correct Bill of Material for the final design.
• Carry out the proper labeling, dimensioning, coding, and part numbering according to the prevailing system.
• Update revisions, revision numbers and records on drawings.
• Carry out design changes and product design maintenance in response to the Product Engineer’s orders, production problems testing requirements and field feedback.
• Safeguard, saving and proper back-up for design work according to prevailing instructions and procedures.
• Contribute to the design standardization of the product unit to minimize or ensure a trouble-free production of the HVAC unit resulting to on time delivery to the customer.
• Contribute to the improvement/ enhancement of the product design while maintaining its optimal quality and efficiency to obtain a higher level of net profit for the organization.
• Share Information with the other team for further improvement / enhancement of the group.
