Job Description
- Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance schedule and completion for landscape irrigation systems.
- Design, construction, installation and operation management of irrigation, drainage network systems.
- Conduct pre-tender site visit, prepare the minute of site visit, technical clarifications and preparation of tender documents.
- Evaluate the submitted offers and prepare the Technical and financial reports.
- Supervise and monitor the irrigation activities and take the corrective action.
- Monitor the projects progress as per the submitted program by the contractor to take appropriate action to catch the delay.
- Evaluate the variation orders, and monthly progress claims.
- Supervise and ensure timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests/complaints
- Prepare the update and prepare/generate reports on maintenance work in coordination with Related Departments.
- Maintain the stock of repair parts to ensure appropriate maintenance of irrigation system
- Supervise and participate in the installation of any lines and ensure that the outsourced technicians/maintenance staff are adequately utilizing the irrigation systems.
- Coordinate all activities related and supervision of the third party contractor’s irrigation staff
- Ensure that irrigation staff follow appropriate Safety and security guidelines at all times Monitor acquisition and use of materials
- Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary or as assigned by the head section.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Agriculture engineering - Irrigation.
- At least 5 years of experience in design, installation, construction, operations management of irrigation and drainage systems.
- Field supervision in irrigation maintenance systems with hands-on experience in scheduling and managing technicians.
- Irrigation network design experience.
- Knowledge of water requirement for lawns, trees, shrubs, ground cover plants seasonal plants, etc.
- Leadership capabilities and able to handle work under pressure.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software and other computer applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English, Arabic language is a plus.
- Good reporting skills.
