Job Description

The moderator’s main responsibility is to manage our social media platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) via comments, messages, and engaging with relatable content on other pages, brands, groups, and influencers. Moderators will be required to provide monthly and quarterly reports, for example, Sentiment reports.   

Detailed: 

  • Implement the online community moderation strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Review and moderate all user-generated content and user profiles (either pre-, post-, or reactive moderation) within comments and messages on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Process emails and complaints, escalating when necessary.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on relevant moderation statistics, issues, outcomes and, the effectiveness of moderation policy.
  • Monitor all industry and company information and news to anticipate potential issues.

Job Requirements

  • Good knowledge of English & Arabic written and spoken
  • 2+ years of experience preferably in e-commerce
  • Previous experience in social media & CC managing tools example: Hootsuite, Freshdesk, etc..
  • Good knowledge of principles of customer service, online legal issues, and cool under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and report statistics.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Operational knowledge and understanding of online community platform moderation tools.
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Knowledge of the Company’s industry and targeted demographic’s culture.
  • Team player, detail-focused and reliable
  • Availability to work days, evenings, nights, as well as weekends when required.
