Job Description
Vijua is a Cairo-based technology company specialized in interactive ebook technologies. Within Vijua, there is plenty of learning opportunity, all under a friendly lenient work environment, with a great supportive team.
We are on the lookout for a writer interested in writing about technology and education in English. The writer will focus mostly on our blog and occasionally work under the marketing team to promote our product through various channels. The writer should have a passion for writing in different styles (non-formal, formal), and basic technical writing experience. Although a background in IT is not required, it is preferred.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering written content of certain criteria within a specific time frame
- Proposing article topics and ideas for the future
- Performing duties as instructed
Job Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years writing any type of content
- Excellent English writing skills
- Good computer skills (especially using Google Docs and Google Sheets)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web technologies (recommended)
- Ability to work under pressure
