Job description:
- Prepare and cook all kinds of oriental cuisine especially our breakfast menu.
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation (Food Styling).
- Study the recipes, gather all necessary ingredients and modify recipes to meet customers’ needs.
- Work closely with other sections, train & evaluate the team in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and overall business requirements.
- Keep up to date with the latest technology in the restaurant & cooking field.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen according to HACCP.
- Modify & edit menu items & recipes.
Job Requirements
Job requirements:
- Males Only
- Experience 5 to 10 years
- Experience in preparing breakfast and lunch especially in Lebanese & Syrian cuisines.
- Experience in preparing oriental breakfast, including pastries & sandwiches.
- Experience in big restaurants and hotels.
- Create a booklet for the menu items description with the preparation methods.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
- Communication & leadership skills.
- Excellent record of kitchen management.
- Multitasks skills.
- Time management skills.
