Cloud Architect

Your purpose

As a cloud architect, you need to design, maintain current state and future state architecture for cloud based platforms, Support the implementation of different solutions\technologies in the respective domains in addition to communicating with other solution owners to ensure proper design and alignment across different domains and solutions. Maintain IT services continuity in compliance with agreed SLAs and policies and enhance the ability to respond to business needs in an efficient and effective manner across the group IT functions (IKEA / FLOW /etc.) lead technology and solutions design and implementation, contribute to the digital transformation strategy, through ensuring that respective domains initiatives and business needs fulfilled with proper technology while ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and scalability of the solutions.

Your accountabilities

• Demonstrate, track and continuously improve the business value of cloud services, to be recognized by management stakeholders.  
• Provide knowledge transfer\training of domain respective technologies to solution owners
• Support the group with the best suitable cloud solution based on the business objectives.
• Act as an advisor and architect for cloud technologies, develop a successor and work on leveraging the cloud knowledge across the group IT teams.
• Create and implement organization wide cloud strategy including IKEA/FLOW/ etc.
• Develop a holistic architectural view of cloud solutions components across the group and throughout the different IT solutions.
• Adhere to the cyber security and service availability measures and KPIs.
• Participate in the design workshop of IT functions solutions across the group.
• Identify improvement\enhancement for cloud platforms and create improvement plans and budgets estimates.
• Continuously assess the current cloud setups across the group and recommend the best roadmap approach to maintain the services continuity with the lowest possible cost.
• Capture and maintain current / future cloud solutions architecture to ensure smooth operations and performance of applications and solutions.
• Ensure execution of projects and business initiatives are aligned with the target architecture and recommended practices and reference models.
• Lead the cloud hosted solutions design and build across the Group IT functions and multi cloud environments/providers.
• Maintain a great synchronization between cloud and on-premises solutions.
• Work with the infrastructure team on migrating all the possible workloads to cloud.
• Maintain an updated documentation of the cloud-based solutions for all IT functions across the group.
• Deliver the cloud first strategy by migrating existing workloads to cloud platforms.
• Support of digital strategy\IT Strategy through portfolio, program and project management
