Job Description
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support in an EHS and quality compliant manner for all aspects of Electrical & utilities system across the Giza site. This requires involvement in planned work such a regular electrical & Environmental monitoring and maintenance plan activities as well as supporting breakdowns situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of planned Maintenance Plan on schedule related to General Electricity & HVAC and other utilities electricity
- Immediately response to any unplanned adverse event such as breakdowns
- Repair of site electric equipment and other utilities electricity damaged during production operations ensuring minimum cost to site
- Management of any contractor’s onsite ensuring all permits and method statement requirements are full-filled
- Owe any project or upgrade related to Electrical network
- Support of technical team in delivery of new product introductions and ongoing investigations
- Ensure all instrumentation systems are maintained in a safe manner
- Ensure all activities undertaken are risk assessed prior to starting and managed appropriately
- Ensure all quality/ Safety issues are reported and escalated appropriately
- Ensure all contractors onsite are managed through relevant permit systems
- Ensure all instrumentation systems are maintained in a GMP compliant manner
- Ensure all documentation is completed on schedule in a GMP compliant
Job Requirements
- University Bachelors' degree of electrical engineering or electronic Engineering or control Engineering
- Engineering syndicate approved university is a must
- At least 5 years' experience in similar role
- Previous experience Specialization in Electric and control and electronic, utilities engineering is mandatory
- Experience in pharmaceutical factories or FMCG industry is mandatory
- Experience in auditing management systems is mandatory
- Strong computer Skills (Typing, Ms. excel, Ms. word)
- Good command of the English language (Verbal & Writing)
- Excellent interpersonal Communication skills
- Priorities settings and Organizing skills
- Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to lift weighted objects
