- Responsible for Preparing technical and material submittals.
- Assisting in project budget and schedule planning.
- Prepare and review design & shop drawings.
- Coordinate Architecture and Civil projects drawings.
- Coordinate various projects between technical office, sites and designers (architectural and structural)
- Participate in daily technical office activities (quantity surveying, contracts and bids).
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Responsible to ensure that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and materials needed to carry out the works.
- Prepare the construction method statements and risk assessments and develop work methods and temporary works necessary for your area.
- Track changes to the design or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
- Taking part in the selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for projects. Reviewing subcontractors' invoices.
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
- Monitor project activities to ensure exact following of work program.
- Study and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) for missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review outsourced Engineering offices’ drawings and coordinate their approval process.
- Resolve/report any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction.
- Responsible for developing project master time schedule.
- Coordinate and develop detailed project schedule together with engineers, vendors and construction contractors.
- Implement and solve technical problems that arise.
- Communicate projects’ progress and problems/risks/concerns to senior management.
- Coordinate daily with the subcontractors and assist in the preparation of the work requisition for the subcontracted works.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors, and follow up of the subcontracted works, including the payment applications.
- Prepare work requisition for all required permanent materials and prepare material submittals and follow-up of the approval process.
- Supervising and reviewing the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel.
