Job Description
- Translate key business requirements into network design with deep understanding and experience of Network Switches, Network Routing, MPLS, Network administration, Network integration, and network advancement to provide a secure and stable infrastructure across alfanar.
- Implement software-defined networking and network-function virtualization to meet IT department compliance.
- Develop and implement migration solutions for acquired networks, private clouds such as VMWare and OpenStack to meet business requirements.
- Network Security architects are responsible for designing and overseeing the configuration of secure enterprise network systems
- Evaluate, design, architect, test, deploy, configure, administrate, and maintain the alfanar systems security and configurations.
- Determine baseline Network security configuration standards for operating systems (e.g., operating system hardening), network segmentation, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Ensure that a complete, accurate and valid inventory of all systems, infrastructure, and applications are conducted and logged from the Network by SIEM or log management tool.
- Design and define highly complex, critical, and diverse architectures for security devices, electronic data traffic, network access, cryptography, and access control.
- Perform other related duties for security related to network
Establish best practices and industry-standard controls and baseline configurations for a variety of services, systems, devices, endpoints, data, and 3rd party solutions. - Work with vendors to configure & optimize Information Security solutions and/or systems for alfanar system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT Security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors·
- Manage security responsibilities, including firewalls, proxy systems, logging, and other security devices.
- Create and review reports on event anomalies.
- Applying network security policies and provide network security expertise to the company.
- Analyze and implement new security protocols and technologies
- Maintaining LAN, WAN, and server architecture
- Implements security systems by specifying Network intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
- Upgrades security systems by monitoring the security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement
- Investigate and respond to security violations
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
- Minimum Certifications: CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Security, CCNP Security, routing & switching
- Experience in planning and designing wireless, network security, LAN, WAN, and external network data connections with multiple years’ experience designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and managing enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.
- Minimum Experience: minimum 10+ Years’ hands-on experience
- Experience with Web Vulnerability.
- Generic Skills: Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience with managing Firewalls, Networks, Microsoft and Linux environments, Virtual Environments, Cloud Security, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS·
- Experience with managing SIEM, Logs, IDS/IPS, DLP, Web filters, AV, and WAF solutions·
- Expert knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco ASA enterprise firewall technologies required
- Working knowledge of web application firewalls, load balancers, Web Application delivery, Global Load balancer and proxies.
- Experience with the design and configuration of a network DMZ.
- Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware.
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, common protocols and standards.
- Experience with DLP and IPS/IDS systems.
- Experience with security scanning tools.
