Job Description
Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Prepare project schedule, including Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Installation, allocate resource to cover all stages for the project. determine the most suitable and economically viable construction and engineering methods for projects in coordination with the PM.
- Prepare execution plan, method statement, Deciding on proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for each project stage in full coordination with the PM and according to the execution strategy.
- Identify long lead items and preparing an action plan accordingly.
- Identify gaps in key performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency
- Monitor expenses as the project are executed, analyze expenses and identify opportunities to save cost and assure the project is handled on time and on budget by overseeing the project planning, inventory services, cost control.
- Prepare and follow up the Variation Orders and prepare Notice to Claim in cooperation with the Contracts team.
- Create variance reports (Schedule & Cost Variance) at various stages of the project to analyze deviations.
- Prepare maneuver plan for tools, equipment and Crew.
- strong understanding of technical engineering principles to predict future problems and find solutions.
- Preparing looks ahead and monitor day-to-day work progress to provide accurate weekly/monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages.
- Study the impact of alternative approaches (if any).
- Follow up tracking logs and preparing supportive documents for any potential claim.
- Create Project Closing Reports with continuous improvement
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Has good record experience with mix-used projects.
- 10-15 years of experience in a similar position
- Understanding of construction sequencing/work breakdown structure
- High levels of analytical problem-solving.
- Excellent planning skills
- Interact effectively with cross-functional team members and external stakeholders at various levels of responsibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience using Primavera P6 is a must.
