Job Description
- Lead software architecture definition in collaboration with the CTO and Development team. Collaborate with stakeholders and department heads to ensure appropriate technologies improve their efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
- Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
- Prepare lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management.
- Building, configuring, and maintaining the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance of the business’s software.
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to project team members and their line heads
- Identify the resources needed and work closely with team heads to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks.
- Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Enhance the efficiency of development, testing and release process; develop tools, frameworks.
- Monitor & review execution of plans and taking corrective actions.
- Support in implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
- Managing end to end delivery of projects within time and budget, starting from early phases of planning and requirements gathering till the delivery of production to operations.
- Managing customer change requests, ensuring following standard process.
- Stay up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies to develop the internal work process.
- Ensure the decisions and changes made throughout projects’ life cycles are fully documented.
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining and supporting strategic plans for implementing technologies.
- Working with cofounders, and executive teams to define strategy and requirements.
- Providing reports with progress and risks along with proposed tactical/strategic solutions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience on medium or large-scale IT/Software projects.
- A minimum of total 10 years of progressively increasing experience and responsibility.
- Problem solving aptitude, critical thinking, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization as well as customers.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of agile methodologies including Agile Scrum with Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning.
- Good Understanding of the overall technical complexities of multi-tiered web & mobile solutions, cloud computing workloads & systems integration.
- Proven Expertise in product ownership & management.
- Strong leader with Project Management experience; hold yourself & others accountable for product plans & execution.
- Has solid experience, style, patience, and professionalism in communicating and dealing with business issues & hurdles.
- Ability to lead an efficient productive team in a collaborative and enjoyable project environment.
- Capability of deciding the resources required for the project.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile procedures to predict the development teams’ needs
