Summary

  • Key member of the IT Team ultimately responsible to identify and bring forth technology infrastructure and solutions to propel the company forward.
  • Responsible for the all areas of production systems, data control, Backup systems, mobile devices, IT operations and Operations support, while providing leadership, motivation, guidance and support to all Store IT Analysts across all stores
  • Manage and ensure all hardware and software are functioning as per agreed service level agreements while monitoring various applications to track performance. Responsible for ensuring optimal delivery of IT services
  • Supporting the (ERP) for the head office and stores with clearly defined business process & working methods that are in line within the concept framework and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  1. Define IT SOPs  with focus on effectively combining people, process and system, across all business functionalities, thus improve internal working methods, secure supporting tools and competence
  2. Ensure all current systems and infrastructure is managed day to day, including servers and services.
  3. Effectively manage the planning and implementation of necessary system upgrades (Service Packs, Fixes and Upgrades) with minimal impact to the day-to-day business operations.
  4. Lead IT Service delivery to provide a sustainable IT environment for the business.
  5. Manage the IT operations for stores, central units and warehouses across Egypt ensuring all functions of the business operate at an optimal level with minimal downtime.
  6. The key point of contact for the business leads and functions and prove the standards and processes for providing optimal support levels in all locations.
  7. Enable the deployment of the new IT services and solutions to meet business needs and the company's IT architecture.
  8. Ensure adequate Service Level Agreement in support or exceed it.
  9. Provide efficient two way communication with business proving the IT transparency-and-awareness of business Regional and Local IT activities.
  10. Identify and communicate the business needs following the existing process to provide the best response.
  11. Monitor the costs related to IT activities.
  12. Passive & Active LAN equipment configuration and maintenance, monitoring.
  13. Effectively manage IT hardware procurements and utilizations across ECH including head office and stores while factoring cost consciousness in mind.
  14. Optimal use of external service providers to ensure technology services are delivered in accordance to business timelines
  15. Ensure structured IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place and followed across all Egypt Stores.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience including 5-7years experience in IT project management and Service operations experience, retail preferred.
  • Must have strategic, analytical and tactical abilities.
  • Must have deep knowledge of ERP systems -preferably SAP, MS-Dynamics AX- and Relational DBMS.
  • Fluent English.
