Description

JASARA PMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of cost control for our projects. You will collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Your expertise in cost management and analysis will contribute to the successful completion of our projects within budgetary constraints and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures for projects Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects Monitor project expenses and track costs to ensure adherence to budgets Analyze project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with project teams to forecast and track costs, ensuring accuracy and completeness Prepare and present cost reports to management and stakeholders Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cost management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 20 years of experience in cost management or related roles in the construction industry ideally have international experience but the majority of work experience in the GCC. Strong understanding of cost control principles and techniques Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proven experience in managing and leading a team* Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
