Solar Project Manager

The purpose of this role is to organize and control the preparation and execution of Renewable Energy construction contracts to meet company objectives of maximizing profit, quality, and safety.  The Project Manager oversees Renewable Energy projects from commencement to completion and manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and delivers every project on time and within budget. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project.
• Draft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.
• Create and distribute  RFPs to potential  EPC  subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics,  and select winning proposals.
• Manage contract negotiations,  change orders,  and other agreements with  EPC  subcontractors and vendors,  and oversee all subcontractors’  work in  all  phases.
• Develop  and  maintain  project  timeline,  identify  critical  path  and  key milestones for  project’s  success.
• Responsible for project administration and daily operations.
• Handle and provide all close-out documentation to customer at completion of project.
• Establishes relationships and communication tools, as needed, with suppliers and other key people to verify all materials, supplies, tools equipment and personnel are obtained and/ or delivered when necessary.
