Job Description
- Assists support staff in setting work schedule priorities to ensure maintenance and repairs are
completed in a timely fashion. - Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and all other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding goals, timelines, etc.
- Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of products.
- Analyze the supply, demand, and forecast.
- Fully understanding our information system and working with our IT team to roll our new
developments. - Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Managing daily routes / schedule of shipments and delivers.
- Tracking the progress of shipments.
- Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations.
- Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stock.
- Responsible for further training, skills development, performance assessment, and discipline of
employees. - Directs, assigns, and monitors the work of staff.
- Completes daily labor and couriers’ forms, employee time sheets, and ensures information is
complete and accurate. - Conducts annual performance reviews.
- Oversee and coordinate building maintenance issues (Equipment inspections, annual equipment
certification, safety related repairs and day to day repairs. - Work closely with the fleet department for managing day-to-day fleet operation activities.
- Supervising driver team ensuring working planning, training and HSE standards.
- Follow up on all shipments in the branches.
- Review of weekly and monthly reports and summarizing pertinent points.
- Organizing all shipments in line with company requirements.
- Prepare and maintain a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant departments.
- Follow up the deliver against departmental KPI.
- Maintenance of system data requirements and always ensuring integrity.
- Continual review of shipping dates and reporting exceptions.
- Assisting with the renegotiating of terms of business and performance evaluation and taking
corrective action as required. - Formulate Budgeting, Strategic Business, and Action plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in management or other related fields.
- Minimum of 8-10 years work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial position, preferably related to logistics
management. - Minimum of 3 years in Logistics field.
- Proven experience in operations and people management B2B & B2C Projects.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Analytical Skills.
- High communication skills.
- Presentable.
- Good geographic knowledge.
- Team player.
