Job Description
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software documentation, system operation documentation, testing, user guides, installation guides, online help content, presentations, publications, and other media.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality, and form clear understanding of the purpose of any document they create.
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of information within documents and between related documents.
- Create and review technical documents for Configuration, Security, Program, and Operations using Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel applications.
- Localize and Translate technical documents to other languages as required.
- Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."
- Have wide understanding and knowledge for technical terms and information in order to achieve consistency and accuracy in technical communication.
- Create and assists other team members with end-user documentation, on other projects, on an as-needed basis.
- Understand the user’s view of applications and /or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
- Merges and updates multiple versions of similar documents into one document and send to manager for final approval on content.

- Ability to write clear documents and edit previously written documents.
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex information in a simple and well-organized document.
- Creative writing skills and creative display of ideas in graphs and visual charts.
- Ability to track the documents changes and updates in an organized way.
- Ability to use graphics programs to capture, size, and import screenshots into documentation.
- Good communications skills.
- Team-working skills.
- Bachelor of Literature, English Department / Alsun or bachelor of translation or relevant degree preferably with a technical background.
- 3 to 5 years of experience required in an IT development environment/Software companies.
- Mastering writing skills and verbal communications in English and Arabic Languages in multiple mediums [specifically in technical fields].
- Excellent Localization and Translation Skills from English to Arabic and vice versa.
- Well-developed proofreading skills.
- Excellent in using Microsoft Word Templates, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel applications as well as InDesign tool.
- Experience in software manuals, textbooks, product instructions, technical online content, memorandums, employee manuals, policy manuals, and offers.
