Job Description

Job Purpose: To manage the collection of outstanding debts from Parents and New Admissions.

Job Summary: The collection officer is responsible for daily collection of school fees, receiving and sending calls regarding the late installments, and keeping records of the collection process.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing the school debtor list.
  • Contacting parents / customers and informing them of their overdue invoices.
  • Advising parents / customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
  • Negotiating suitable payment plans.
  • Maintaining customer payment records.
  • Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
  • Instituting legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.
  • Responding to customer queries.
  • Contacting lawyers and insurance agencies to facilitate payments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Accounting / Finance 
  • Excellent English Language and Computer Skills.
  • Previous Experience in Collection
  • Presentable
