Job Description
Job Purpose: To manage the collection of outstanding debts from Parents and New Admissions.
Job Summary: The collection officer is responsible for daily collection of school fees, receiving and sending calls regarding the late installments, and keeping records of the collection process.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the school debtor list.
- Contacting parents / customers and informing them of their overdue invoices.
- Advising parents / customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
- Negotiating suitable payment plans.
- Maintaining customer payment records.
- Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
- Instituting legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.
- Responding to customer queries.
- Contacting lawyers and insurance agencies to facilitate payments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting / Finance
- Excellent English Language and Computer Skills.
- Previous Experience in Collection
- Presentable
