We are currently on the search for a Procurement and Accounting Specialist for one of our clubs
What do we expect from you:
1- Key responsibilities:
a- Accounting duties:
- Handling members payment (membership's Down payment & installment CHQs).
- Responsible for contracts filling and reviewing.
- Coordination with treasury team for installment CHQs status.
- Follow up with clients for bounced & rejected CHQs to be repaid or re-submitted.
- Process clients refund requests.
- Booking all other revenue transaction on ERP on time (Sports academies/ outlets rent or revenue share,etc)
- Tracking all members wallets transactions through ERP.
- Post outlets penalties
- E-invoices booking through portal.
- Follow up on the receivable accounts and collections
- Provide the needed reports on time
- Issue invoices and follow them up on settlement
- Enter all needed data on Odoo
b- Procurement duties:
- Work on sourcing quality products, materials and services according to company standards
- Follow vendors assessment and selection process
- Compy to supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts and best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders and act as a proactive Business Partner
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings under the supervision of his manager
- Follow up company policy for procurement process like ( 3 quotations & required legal documents for new suppliers , ….etc.)
2- Health and Safety:
- Strictly adhere to the HSE instructions
3- Reporting:
- Client due status
- Revenue share report
4- Continuous improvement:
- Stay up to date with the accounting principles
Job Requirements
What do you need to perform your role:
To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:
- Education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant in commerce/accounting
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Skills and knowledge:
- Experience in Accounting ERP systems is preferable (Odoo)
- Skillful in using Excel
- High accuracy and eye for details
- Very Good command in English language.
- Time management skills
