Cost Control Engineer - Site Based

Job Summary

Our client a General Contracting Company focused on turnkey projects covering various sectors from Residential to Administration and Commercial. 

 

Job Description:

 

• Revise on the costing sheet & Qs of the projects based on the variations & omissions occurs during the project.

 

• Determine and highlight the Project in progress items based on delivered Row Material in the Warehouse.

 

• Revise the sub-contractor invoices and compare it with the dry cost & Client approved Qs in the payment certificate.

 

• Conduct monthly reports to track the materials consumption, Renting, Daily workers, Sub-contractor work.

 

• Conduct the Project in progress & Estimating Cost report monthly.

 

• Revise and approve the additional works and deductions for the sub-contractors

 

• Revise and approve the variation orders before submitting to the client.

 

• Study all the project documents; drawings, BOQ, Project Specifications, Contract and Tendering inquiries.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

 

• (Construction experience ) is a must.

 

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

 

• Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
