Job Description
Responsible for understanding the client’s business needs and specifications, negotiating tenders and contract terms and conditions to meet the needs and requirements of the client and QSIT both alike.
The Presales Engineer is also responsible for estimating cost and pricing reports for the clients, aligned with the sales department and the technical support to ensure that all clients’ needs are being met effectively.
- Understand customers’ diverse, specific business needs and offering solutions proposals to meet those needs
- Work on deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the presales manager.
- Provide the technical solution required addressing any customer requirements, and recommending solutions that optimize value for the customer.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and QSIT needs
- Maintain awareness and keep up-to-date of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
- Respond to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting paper work.
- Responsible for calculating client quotations and administering clients’ accounts
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in software house
