Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the environment of company HIS / ERP system.
- Administrate different type of Linux systems such as Redhat and Ubuntu.
- Administrate MS-SQL databases of the group.
- Identifying who has access to the database
- Continually monitoring database systems
- Daily maintenance/administration of MS-SQL databases.
- Restoring lost data
- Explore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application leveraging automation/configuration management technologies.
- Daily maintenance/administration of Linux/Unix systems.
- Prepare for new product related releases and assists with new initiatives and upgrades.
- Work with CHG HIS / ERP team to operate and run CHG ERP smoothly
- Installation, set up, configuration and maintenance of Java Application Servers, Apache Web Servers and Database Servers.
- Configuration and maintenance of the monitoring system.
- Respond to alerts issued by our monitoring systems.
- Manage, Install and upgrade Linux Environment.
- Troubleshoot and investigate HMIS Issues related to Linux Operation system environment by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Excellent organizational and Problem Solving management skills; understanding of project management best practices.
- Provide documentation, Reporting and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Follow IT SLA in handling issues.
- Provide Remote / Physical support depend on case issue.
- In charge of leading the practice and introducing the overall technical vision for a particular solution.
- Manage and Monitor for security issues.
- Investigate security breaches incidents.
- Install security measures and operate software to protect Linux environment and data encryption programs.
- Work to perform tests and uncover Linux environment vulnerabilities.
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology field.
- Proven experience in Linux Operating system environment.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience.
- Linux Advanced Certificate is a must.
- Strong knowledge in database administration
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and networks
- Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent research and self-learning skills
- Efficiently meeting deadlines, schedules, and target dates.
- Self -motivated and enthusiastic.
