Job Description
- Responsible for safe maintenance, replacement or repair of all vehicles, to ensure Quality Control/Quality Assurance and implementation.
- Implement the Yearly Preventive Maintenance Plan for the purpose of maintaining equipment in satisfactory operating condition by providing for systematic inspection, detection, and correction of incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into major defects.
- Conduct the Corrective maintenance activities to carry out on all defects which have caused equipment to be taken out of service.
- Involved in strategic planning & properties day-to-day operations for the Corrective & Preventive plans:
- Maintain accurate records of the condition of the vehicles
- Ensure & maintain that all vehicles & equipment are working properly
- Create monitoring systems or programs in the premises to detect problems as early as possible
- Develop back-up or alternative systems for common problems such as spare parts shortage
- Participate in preparing the budget so that the maintenance team will get the adequate funds for its operations
- Develop staff development programs such as skills enhancement training & sessions
- Monitor all aspects of the assignment to ensure compliance with the annual business plan, annual budgets & established policies & procedures.
- Calculate & compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
- Conduct frequent inspections for quality control purposes
Job Requirements
- B sc. Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid work experience in maintenance filed, 5 years at least as workshop manager is a must.
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience in maintenance of Heavy equipment including Concrete Pumps, Mixer Trucks, Loaders, and Electricity Generators is a must.
