Accountabilities :

Plan, create, coordinate, deploy and maintain data warehouses.
Create best practices for data loading and extraction.
Develop data architecture, data modelling, and ETFL mapping solutions within a structured data warehouse environment.
Develop reporting applications and data warehouse consistency.
Facilitate requirements gathering and develop unique simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers.
Supervise design throughout the implementation process.
Develop and implement ETL routines according to the DWH design and architecture.
Support and maintain data warehouse to meet business delivery specifications and needs.
Clearly communicate complex technical designs and solutions in a clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel.
Monitor the DWH and BI systems performance and integrity provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.
Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting DWH solutions
Maintain & improve the health and performance of all critical persistent database technologies MYSQL and SQL Server (Administration).
Troubleshooting Linux server and database problems.
Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design
Troubleshooting Hadoop, Spark, python and Java problems.
Architecture and crate Database Model.
Write Programs and Scripts.
Using DevOps to controlling developers coding and pipelines and automation.

People Management Responsibilities:

Performs all Management responsibilities to lead & Motivate their own staff to ensure high morale and attainment of operational objectives
Ensuring employees have clear job objectives and challenging targets.
Ensuring employees receive appropriate coaching, learning & development.
Appropriate staffing of the department to ensure workload balance and high productivity.
Appropriate compensation and rewards motivate and recognize top performance based on actual performance and compliance with the company business conduct standards. Maintains two-way communication.

Excellent English communication skills.
Certifications in Microsoft database skills, experience with other database technologies (i.e. Oracle, MySQL, etc.) is preferable.
Must be able to conceptualize and design DB solutions and manage processes with a team of developers
Strong design, development and implementation experience with Microsoft database technologies (i.e. to include business intelligence technologies as well, like Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services).
Thorough working knowledge of the design and database development processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to data solution projects.
Strong database setup, configuration, maintenance/support, programming, debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills, and experience with numerous operating systems, database environments and architectures.
Experience in developing and executing a data solution implementation plan.
Strong knowledge and experience with database tuning, ETL, DTS, T-SQL and business intelligence technologies.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills and experience with data solution projects.
Excellent ability to understand and express complex topics.
Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at the tactical / implementation levels.
Ability to coach, mentor and train personnel within a technical organization
