Job Description

Strategic Duties:

  • Define clearly and communicate the project's vision and objectives to all team members.
  • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Responsible for internal audit and reporting internal audit results.
  • Ensures applicable corrective actions are taken in light of internal audit findings.
  • Prepare lessons learned at the end of the project and whenever required.
  • Other additional strategic planning in accordance with ECIC’s vision.

Technical Duties:

  • Responsible for internal audit and reporting internal audit results.
  • Attend the weekly progress / technical meetings with the Client and its representatives and produce the minutes of meetings and circulate them in due course.
  • Ensures the achievement of the project objectives.
  • Define and clarify the project scope.
  • Implements the project plan and schedule
  • Liaises with management and HR the organizational structure of the project team.
  • Identify services to be provided by external companies/ subcontractors.
  • Set and monitors the team direction and daily tasks
  • Coordinate activities across different organizational functions.
  • Define project baselines.
  • Review the time schedule, updated time schedules, periodical resource schedules, and material delivery schedules, Quality Plans, HSE Plans and requirements, Subcontractors, suppliers, and Engineering Consultants/Designers qualification documents. As well as the Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports.
  • Responsible for preparing the relevant reports related to the projects progress
  • Approve the inspection plan based on the time schedule.
  • Assist in giving consultation on the recovery and crashed schedule carried out by Projects Control.
  • Administers strictly observe plans and approvals status.
  • Review the as-built forwarded to the EN on weekly/biweekly basis.
  • Approve the QS reports.
  • Approve the Purchasing Requests prior to submitting them to Supply Chain department.
  • Approve the Method Statements for conducting the relevant activities once both shop drawings and Material Submitting are approved.
  • Review the Inspection Requests, Material Inspection Requests, Test Reports, Test Requests and Work Permits.
  • Responsible for the handing over certificate.
  • Undertake any other projects/duties assigned

Job Requirements

General Administrative Duties:

  • Motivate the project team members.
  • Support in preparing the relevant reports related to the project to the Operations Manager as may be required.
  • Provide full admin support to the team.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with the project team to ensure that priorities are clear, and the workflow is running smoothly as per the agreed plans.
  • Other additional administrative duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Minimum Required Education

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering

Minimum required Professional Experience Years

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a related field experience.

Language Proficiency 

  • Fluent in Arabic and English language.

  • knowledge of principles and practices of basic engineering
  • Knowledge in related governmental laws and legislations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
