Job Description
- Coordinating and supervising key work assignments given to clerical staff to ensure a balanced distribution of jobs and to be completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Analyze incoming and outgoing memoranda, submissions and reports and prepare and co-ordinate the preparation and submission of summary briefs and reports to executives, committees and boards of directors
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees and boards of directors
- Meet with individuals, special interest groups and others on behalf of executives, committees and boards of directors to discuss issues and assess and recommend various courses of action
- Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments
- Organizing and servicing meetings (prepare agendas and taking minutes)
- Handle traveling arrangements.
- Prioritizing workloads
- Implementing new procedures and administrative systems
- . Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
- Monitoring key office supplies and making new orders to replenish them.
- Coordinating mailshots and similar publicity tasks.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree preferred in business
- Have an office or administrative work experience of at least 5 years
- Previous experience in an academic environment is a plus
- Team working, Organization and time management skills
- To be a resident of Al Gharbia Governorate
- Excellent in English (Good knowledge of French would be a plus)
- Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Flexibility, tact, proactive and diplomacy
- Ability to use standard software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office)
