Pharmaceutical Product Manager:

  • Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to develop the strategic and tactical plan for driving the successful launch and performance acceleration through uncovering all business opportunities in the market for different therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the pharma market and diseases areas.
  • Support and drive the development of products strategy.
  • Lead local development of an innovative tactical plan, aligned with overall strategy in close collaboration with the x-functional team
  • Deployment of innovative commercial tactics through campaigns, marketing material and (cross functional) projects targeted towards different healthcare stakeholders
  • Prepare and execute the launch plans within the cross functional team and strong collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Play a key role in digital transformation - Enhance and drive multi-channel approach in close collaboration with other marketing, Sales and digital marketing colleagues.
  • Identify and communicate local market insights about opportunities and challenges and present local marketing interests.
  • Close collaboration with Sales i.e. communicate and effectively work out new strategies and activities with / for the sales team.
  • In charge of the marketing budget and forecasts
  • Lead monitoring and tracking efforts, understand ROI and adapt approach if required
  • Foster an environment of cross-functional collaboration and best-practice sharing across all therapeutic areas.
  • Develop close relationships and project with Key Medical Experts
  • Support field team w/ training and in the marketing strategy/tactical plan execution

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry, including new product launches and LCM experience
  • At least 1 years of Pharmaceutical brand management experience.
  • Preferably at least 3 years’ experience as Sales Rep. in a Pharma Company
  • Thorough understanding of commercial business aspects including sales planning and execution, market access, patient advocacy, regulatory, reimbursement and hospital formulary listing
  • Fluent in Arabic and English languages

Demonstrated Strengths in the Following Key Areas

  • P&L management/budget management
  • Project Management Skills & ability to perform under stress
  • Highly Proficient in Senior Management Presentation Development and Presentation Skills
  • Identifying growth opportunities and driving organization to capture value
  • Formulating and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies
  • Effectively working with and leading cross functional teams
  • Developing business cases to recommend and rationalize investments and other strategic actions.

Education

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Vet. And Medicine.
  • Excellent communication / coordination / interpersonal skills
