Job Description
- Management of maintenance contracts.
- Develop and implement a universal hospital equipment plan.
- Perform and plan preventive maintenance and calibration schedule for all biomedical equipment for all hospital departments and performs regular daily reports about hospital equipment problems.
- Develop and apply all required equipment labels as preventive maintenance, out-of-service labels, and electrical safety labels.
- Review medical equipment recalls and takes appropriate actions to ensure the affected equipment is tested or removed from service, where appropriate.
- Give technical consultation when purchasing medical devices.
- Prepare maintenance contracts for medical devices.
- Follow up on all maintenance work.
- Receive new medical devices and participate in the installation and training. Requirements
- Comply with the hospital infection control guidelines. • Develop and update medical equipment inventory.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the general hospital.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Fully aware of Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
