Job Description
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to the production team
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Oversee and coach employees
- Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
- Creates and maintains professional schedules
- Check production output according to specifications and ensure that standard production quality is being met at all times
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Evaluates the condition of production equipment and contact appropriate sources for repair issues
- Schedule and supervise regular machinery and equipment preventive maintenance
- Train all employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times
- Ensure constant safe use of the equipment and enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- Degree in Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy or any relevant bachelor degree.
- Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines
- Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time
