Job Description

Main Purpose:

  • Make all the purchasing, placing orders, vendor management, and manage efficient contracts implementation; and coordinates Planning requirements with Suppliers capabilities to ensure on time deliveries of excellent quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Smart selection of approved international/ National packaging suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, and supplier’s reputation and history.
  • Negotiate with packaging suppliers to achieve best material price offer and best service
  • Review purchase requests in terms of lead time , quantity, need by date & inventory of each material to guarantee maximum value for the company
  • Analyze price proposals and other data to determine the reasonable prices & terms
  • Prepare price comparisons to ensure the compliance with the agreed contract price & material purchase History Reviewing calculations
  • Prepare packaging purchase orders and manages their approval process
  • Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier & receive order acknowledgment
  • Establish new communication channels whether within the organization or external to facilitate the work.
  • Follow up on all the departments who have ongoing orders to prevent low/no stock with the warehouse department.
  • Implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with suppliers and communicating with other departments to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions.

Fridays are off. 

Working hours from 7am to 4pm.

Job Requirements

 

  • Obour City residence is A MUST.
  • Excellent communication skills, proven ability to supervise and motivate employees.
  • Computer skills including word, excel & ERP
  • Demonstrating experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Have a good relationships
  • English proficiency is a must
