Job Description
- Supervise assembly processes ensuring work is done by quality standards
- Train workers on the assembly process
- Monitor the quality of the assembly steps and final product and take needed correction actions
- Set the floor plan to allow the most efficient assembly process
- Set and monitor production schedule
- Coach and train new workers on best practices
- Issue PO for all assembly parts
- Optimize assembly processes to minimize time and cost
- Ensure safety and health protocols are met all the time
- Recommend improvement to the assembly line to maximize efficiency
- Recommend best packaging solution for each product to ensure no damage and good aesthetics
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software
- High managerial and good leadership skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of CAM tools is a plus
- Good team worker
- High communication skills
- Great attention to details
- Ability to work and make a decision under pressure
- High level of commitment to meeting production schedules and deadlines
