Job Description
- Performing and supervising all agriculture-related activities in the farm.
- Managing workers & daily activities to guarantee the quality of the crop by providing the right fertilizers, pest control, and watering requirements.
- Reporting farm status as instructed and maintaining proper documentation on a regular basis.
- Performing research and development activities to optimize the farm operations:
- Research related to greenhouse design and plumbing design
- Research related to Environmental Control (Cooling, pest control, etc..)
- Other research activities as needed
- Design and execution of irrigation System and connection to reach the optimum system setup.
- Develop the financial plan for the projects and follow up on implementation.
- Eager and willing to learn new techniques through self-study and/or on Job trainings.
- Capacity to set up a reporting system for different initiatives within the farm.
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture
- Candidates that have operational experience in agricultural business for 5 years.
- Experience working in crops (Mango, guava and palm trees)
- Very good Knowledge (prefer previous experience) in design and implementation of Hydroponics, Aquaponics & Sandponic systems.
