Job Description
Rescounts, a Canadian company is hiring a remote Tech Lead based out of Egypt to grow the team and help with the Technical direction of the emerging company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems.
- Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs.
- Participates in architecture and software development activities.
- Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.
- Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
- Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
- Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
- Helps guide the technical direction of the company.
- Performs technical code review and governance.
- Establishes the technical team process.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in developing full-stack mobile apps.
- At least 1 year experience as a Team leader/Scrum master/Engineering Manager.
- Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider(AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with agile software development in Go, React.
- Experience with PaaS, IaaS, Infrastructure as code (terraform is a plus).
- Familiarity with mobile applications development and deployment (IOS and Android native).
- Familiarity with container orchestration services (Docker, k8s, serverless, AWS Lambda .. etc).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Languages: English (Very Good) and Arabic.
