Job Description

  • Develop and carry out the strategic online marketing plans for companies and organizations that do business on the Web. As such, to stay current with the online marketing environment and adapt his/her strategy to best serve the interests of their organization and to keep pace with the competition in their field.
  • keep a constant abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world.
  • Provide researchs on the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.
  • Abreasting all new developments in the e-marketing world.
  • liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales.
  • Leading and supervising web merchandising team to accomplish the company target.
  • Providing support for strategy development and sales performances.
  • Manage all customers expectations by recommending changes to product or services and websites.
  • Collaborate with content developers, fellow businesses and customers. They generally are in charge of an organization’s ecommerce division and report to upper management. General duties will include website design, market research, budgeting, interviewing and training new recruits, supervising the ecommerce division, and presenting project designs to upper management.
  • Being heavily involved with companies’ websites, particularly advertising and content elements. Given the 24/7 nature of online shopping.
  • Work on an irregular hours and be on call to handle any issues that arise.
  • Oversee the entire e-commerce division and divide up employees on tasks

Job Requirements

Skills:

  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing.
  • Operational knowledge of techniques required for market research and analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of website management and eCommerce usability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office Applications, MS Access and others.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree along with MBA holder, PHD is a plus
  • Digital Marketing and/or E-commerce academic certification is a plus.
  • Excellent English (spoken & written)
  • Outstanding communication & Leadership skills
  • Planning for results and project management certificates are a plus
