Job Description
- Maintenance engineer (electrical and mechanical) in the field of maintenance of packaging machinery
- Doing maintenance by himself
- Maintenance of packaging machinery
- Production Manager in achieving required output.
- Responsible for production activities in the plant in accordance to codes of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Responsible for all aspects of product, development activities that include upgrading of products quality, process validation and trouble-shooting to liaise with other departments in day-to-day operation.
- Controls production process and production facilities and ensure that manufacturing activities are in compliance with the requirements of cGMP and all standard yields along production lines are maintained Ensures the general cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the manufacturing areas and production personnel.
- Ensures on the job training of production personnel Prepares daily/weekly/monthly production reports indicating relevant KPI’s
- Analyze production data Responsible for the production monitoring system Ensuring that the safety, environmental and health regulations are being adopted and properly applied
- Coordinating with the Quality function to ensure compliance of processes Conducting regular maintenance investigations to check and ensure efficiency of production machines at the Plant and recommending corrective and preventive maintenance actions when the need arises Deviation system CCR Risk assessment Process standardization Communicating and interpreting company policies to subordinates and ensuring their proper implementation
- Providing required training to subordinates in order to guarantee compliance of production operations to proper procedures according to recently updated SOPs
- Develop or reverse engineer cosmetic products (Creams, Masks, Shampoos, Lotions, Conditioner, etc.)
- Successfully contribute to expanding formulations
- Responsible for creating ingredient list and approval forms
- Responsible for preparing formula cost
- Manage projects based on product briefs and development requests
- Help to develop lab technicians with hands on training on formulation and general industry and laboratory standards
- Keep time schedule for submissions to customers, formula evaluation, pilot schedule, stability, safety testing, etc.…
- Responsible for successful R&D contributions
- Communicate to direct supervisor any issue related to project feasibility
- Meet and correspond with suppliers as planned by supervisor
- Interact with Manufacturing, Production, Purchasing and QA/QC Department if necessary
- Manufacturing support
- Maintain laboratory safety standards
- Perform routine analytical and physical tests
- Ensure that customers’ expectations are met/exceeded
- Performs any other duties or tasks that may be required of you by the company

- Provide overall management & direction of the sterile and non-sterile manufacturing and packaging operations by implementing processes that comply with all approved regulatory & customer requirements,
- Manage activities related to production machines & utilities systems starting from setting user requirements, quotations, comparisons, order confirmation, FAT testing, IQ- OQ, commissioning & start- up.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience at least in Cosmetics Pharmaceuticals
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relative combined experience in the areas of chemical processing, manufacturing, fill & assembly, maintenance/engineering, and management.
- Having a good knowledge in packaging machine ( electric- mechanical )
- Having a good experience in maintenance (PLC - Air - compressor -boilers )
- having a good Knowledge in plant (GMP)
- Strong communication and team building skills supporting the ability to be a change agent, inspiring a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement are needed.
- Passionate and dedicated to promoting high standards through hands on leadership and personal example, including displaying a level of urgency when needed is expect
- This requires a whole set of skills from being highly organized, highly analytical, quality decision maker, problem solver, being accurate due to the essential necessities of this role, in addition to a significant achievement in preparing production budget and monitoring actual expenses.
- Lead and investigate quality deviation, product complaint, and lack of compliance or technical difficulties to reach the root cause.
- Fluency in English to read terms of operating instructions and communicate with foreign technicians and be responsible for installing the machine
