Job Description
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for designing the store in a defined scope to display an enjoyable, easy shopping experience for the customer to improve the sales of the store and to give satisfaction to the customer according to brand standards.
Core Functional Activities:
- Designs windows and makes internal displays more attractively, as well as promotes events which will tempt the customer to buy.
- Moves and positions store merchandise in order to maintain an organized, visually appealing and welcoming store environment.
- Sources materials and displays elements, such as lighting, props and accessories.
- Maximises the layout of the store by installing and dismantling displays, using available space to the best advantage.
- Coordinating store display in line with brand guidelines and styling.
- Translating catalogs & promotions into real designs on the showroom floor and follow the band guidelines.
- Dresses mannequins and makes use of creative lighting for window displays.
- Communicates with the Area Visual Merchandizer & Brand Manager staff to ensure appropriate product rotation.

Job Requirements
Essential:
- 3-4 years of experience
- An ability for combining colours and styles and putting outfits together.
- An eye for interior designs and putting showroom displays together.
- Achieving business objectives by delegating.
- Proven ability to make commercial decisions that make an impact.
- Excellent sense of brand empathy.
- Fully mobile with good time management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience of space or visual planning within the retail sector.
- Possess graphic design skills and experience of window décor simulations and special window concepts
