In a nutshell

In a nutshell, you’re going to own our social media strategy. You’ll be coming up with new social media campaigns, managing our brands online community, and creating awesome content that makes our brands even more loved.

A background in software and Apps would be amazing, but it’s not essential. We want a Social Media & Content Manager legend, first and foremost.

Us

We wor closely with Tech StartUps in the UK, US and Canada, going about developing their software and now we’d like you onboard to help both, us reaching them as a target audience, and them helping with reaching out to their target audience as a service. 

As such, we’re on the hunt for an epic Content & Social Media Manager to join our expanding marketing team and come with us on our growth mission.

You’ll be experienced, you’ll be opinionated and you’ll be driven.

The role

  • Content planning and scheduling for 6 brands (2 lead brands will be 80% of your time)
  • Using social media scheduling software and Google Analytics daily
  • Creative copywriting and rich media production
  • Utilise the design team to make designs, videos and niffy content to generate awareness, engagement and ultimately revenue
  • Campaign monitoring and continuous optimisation
  • Community management on Facebook Groups
  • Positioning our brands as thought leaders in the industry, with lots of credibility
  • Create new and utilise existing trust hooks on social media
  • Finding new influencers to collaborate on social media and content
  • Performance reporting and analytics shared weekly with your wider marketing team
  • Setting KPIs with the head of marketing, to help us achieve our revenue mission
  • Support and deliver seasonal / promotional projects
  • Get to know our potential customers and make them want to engage with our adverts and website - you’ll make content and deliver posts that nobody will want to ignore.
  • Chat with your wider team of 4 people daily and take care of briefs from the marketing team
  • Organising and archiving creative work in shared access locations

Job Requirements

You

  • You will be hyper organised and your planning ability will be legendary
  • You are confident enough to get the team around you to deliver what you need done
  • Your attention to detail is outstanding - you’d never let a typo get in front of the customer
  • You’re addicted to social media, creating good content and being at one with the customer
  • You’re a great listener and communicator (and have top banter)
  • You’ve a keen eye for great design and have basic design skills in a standard design software (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
  • You spill ideas for content and clever social media campaigns
  • Your copywriting skills and grammar skills would put Hardy to shame
  • You’ll understand SEO fundamentals when you’re producing content
  • You will look at competitors and constantly challenge the work you are producing
  • You will understand social media metrics and what matters to a business
  • Organic Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest are your happy place
  • Monitoring of the news around us and wider social conversation to identify trends we should be talking about
  • You understand organic tracking (UTMs) and you can navigate your way round Google Analytics to get the insights you are looking for to drive your decisions
  • You’re reliable, proactive and dare we say organised again?!
  • You love working from home within a remote, collaborative team
  • You don’t shy away from less mainstream social media (Telegram, WeChat, Reddit, etc.)
