Job Description
- Consider the best prices, quality, availability, and reliability when purchasing products.
- Prepare all comparative data to facilitate final negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors and issue orders. A weekly update of the Store purchase status.
- Obtain quotes on pricing for materials used in production.
- Expedite purchasing of materials, equipment, and services when approved to meet production deadlines.
- Research for new products or vendors to reduce costs, improve quality and
delivery time. - Purchase material and equipment from qualified vendors and prepare purchase orders or bid requests.
