Job Description

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports, and makes appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by checking calculations, reviewing the basis for figures, and balancing and reconciling figures.
  • Reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents and researches and resolves discrepancies as necessary.
  • Analyzes and reviews accounting and financial resources.
  • Acts as liaison to internal and external auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions, providing research data and information as requested, and answering questions necessary to complete the audit on time.
  • Communicates with on-site and other property managers to assist in completing pre-close and close activities, answer questions, provide support, and ensure timely completion of accounting processes for on-time client and Company reporting.
  • Completes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analyses, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
  • Analyzes the company's assets and liabilities.
  • Follow-up tax affairs in various sections (value-added tax, income tax).
  • Follow up on banks and banking transactions.
  • Accounting for suppliers and agents A/P.
  • Accounting for clients and customers A/R.
  • Follow up on salaries and advances matters and secure the necessary funds to pay the employees’ salaries at the end of each month.
  • Control and follow-up of the fund, issuance of checks, and bookkeeping.
  • Monitoring bank statements and all matters related to bank information and issuing checks after approval by the administration.
  • Issuing checks and approving payments to suppliers and their timing after approval by the administration.
  • Preparing a monthly review balance
  • Prepare quarterly financial position
  • Preparing all treasury reports and forms by treasury policies and procedures.
  • Monitor all accounting movements, bank movements, and balances and send them to the financial manager and the CEO.
  • Follow up on debts, collections, and contracts of suppliers and investors.
  • Follow up on the company's tax affairs with the competent departments
  • Preparing a statement of establishment expenses and fixed assets
  • Prepare financial records & reports for a variety of real estate transactions, which includes property sales, rentals, leases, etc.
  • Reports may include items such as development expenses, operational costs & profits.
  • Handle all accounts payable & receivable daily to make sure each invoice & expense report is accurate.
  • Follow up with vendors for collections & to make sure that bills are paid on time.

Job Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
  • Years of experience: 4 to 9 years.
  • 4+ Years of experience in General Accounting, Payable & Receivable “Preferred in Real Estate”
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
  • Zayed or October residents are preferred.
