Job Description
- Lead the project technical scope and negotiation with internal departments to agree details.
- Coordinate design site activities. Ensure site visit checklist is complete and all aspects of design, installation and project expectations are evaluated.
- Ensure system design is reviewed for completeness and all necessary materials specified.
- Coordination between the Consultant and Contractors.
- Monitor projects schedule and compare with project baseline and issue crashing plan or fast track plans.
- Review the contractors’ invoices considering the BOQ and check with the progress done on site.
- Issue the PR and Check the technical specs of the offers with the requirement of the project, inspect the delivery items and confirm it is as PR issued.
- Ability to prepare the inspection and test plan for the project ITP.
- Ability to work in many projects at the same time.
- Ability to issue technical study and prepare budgetary for the Project for any Project required from the top management.
- Ability to issue a tender (BOQ, drawings and submit Material vendor list for the project) for projects
- Coordinate with electric utility and other permitting agencies as necessary. Ensure permits will be obtained as needed.
- Verify materials are specified and ordered for delivery in time for scheduled installation.
- Ensure that it is verified that materials received meet all specs and requirements.
- Ensure Field Folder complete and up to date.
- Improve project deployment process to increase quality and efficiency with collaboration and agreement of all stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation point for projects issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stake holders and effectively communicates with all stake holders to complete projects efficiently with safety, profitability, and quality.
- Ensure that the projects consistently apply contract and claims management, in accordance with ACCM policies and contractual agreements. Coordinates with supply chain management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support supply chain management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
- Plan and manage major projects and the analysis of new proposals, requirements, and specifications. Coordinate activities, arrange staffing for each phase of project and assign specific responsibilities. Ensure that overall efforts are in performance with Company requirements.
- Coordinate shipping with factory and freight forwarders, by ship and/or common carriers. Manage and if possible, improve the profitability and cash flow of the project.
- Ensure that disconnections and reconnects are scheduled with the Utility, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates.
- Ensure that safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering
- PMP is must
- 9-12 years of experience preferred in calcium carbonate or cement industry
- Excellent Contractors/service providers-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical skills (civil , electrical , mechanical )
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft project
