Job Description

Handle all activities related to warehousing, as well as direct and control the inventory management activities to ensure availability of adequate stock level of materials, products, goods…etc.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set, update, and execute warehousing and inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory system through proper recording of all the warehousing transactions.
  • Supervise the implementation of operational procedures for activities and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Provide technical assistance with respect to inspecting the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
  • Direct the salvage of damaged or used products in coordination with concerned entities
  • Participate in the planning of personnel safety and warehouse protection activities.
  • Supervise the activities of the warehouse personnel and providing direction on problems that may arise in the performance of their duties.
  • Plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas through developing methods of efficient space utilization.
  • Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine the adequacy of stock levels.
  • Track the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Periodically check various transactions and system data entries for their correctness and accuracy.
  • Schedule, handle, and facilitate the execution of the physical count process in coordination with the accounting and other concerned functions.
  • Control and assure proper storage conditions for the different products and items based on their specifications.
  • Prepare periodic reports regarding warehousing function activities and achievements.
  • Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrices.
  • Recording the warehouse documents - receiving, issue , transfer, and items cost in the ERP SYSTEM

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 3:5 years proven experience warehousing and inventory management or any other related field Contracting Companies is a Plus
  • Professional knowledge in warehousing and inventory management methods, techniques, and trends.
  • Knowledge in procurement management.
  • Conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to plan and organize multiple functions with competing interests.
  • Communication & negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, written and oral.
  • Computer literacy: MS windows applications (word processing, excel, spreadsheets…).
