Job Description
- Coordinating with event designers to ensure that the venue layout is appropriate for the type of event being held
- Coordinating with security personnel to ensure that adequate security measures are in place during the event
- Managing budgets and expenses for each event to ensure profitability
- Ensuring that all staff members are properly trained to carry out their event specific tasks
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deadlines are met
- Providing customer service support to attendees by answering questions about policies or procedures
- Overseeing event setup and breakdown to ensure that the event proceeds smoothly and efficiently
- Managing vendors and contractors to ensure that they meet all contractual obligations and deadlines
- Liaising with performers to ensure that they are prepared for the event
