Job Description

•Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan.

•Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and provide recommendations   for mitigation.

•Execute internal audit reviews, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, in accordance with audit methodologies and procedures.

Conduct audits in line with the audit plan, identify control gaps and areas of risk, and recommend corrective actions.

•Draft audit reports and follow up on the status of audit findings to ensure their timely resolution.

•Assist in the development of audit policies, procedures, and methodologies.

•Provide support to external auditors during the financial audit process.

•Participate in special projects and investigations as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

•Keep abreast of emerging internal audit and regulatory trends and best practices. 

•Support the Head of Internal Audit in building and maintaining a strong relationship with   senior management and other stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit or related fields, with experience in financial services, mortgage finance, or banking industries preferred.
  • Good understanding of internal audit practices, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and audit planning.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian regulations and laws related to financial services.
  • Experience with data analytics, audit tools, and techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
