Job Description
- Plan shipments with the Operations team, Internal and external Supply chain partners, customers and vendors
- Coordinate with the various clearing Agents/ freight forwarder and vendors in Egypt and abroad
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Review shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading) with vendors and clearing agents
- Support the finance department and the Ops team at the end of the month
- Coordinate and monitor freight to designated final destination.
- Plan and track the shipments of final products according to Customs/customer requirements
- Prepare accurate reports and update upper management .
Job Requirements
- Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Fluent in English and in Arabic
- Have a great record- keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach
- Proven experience as logistics coordinator
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and import requirements
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Own private transport is a plus
