Job Description
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels through regular inventory checks and audits.
- Create, process, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
- Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and clean warehouse layout for easy access and storage.
- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records, generating reports for management.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures in both procurement and warehouse operations.
- Continuously improve warehouse and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 to 5 years of Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and procurement/purchasing, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong ability to analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and track procurement KPIs.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and pricing.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and supplier relationships.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory records, procurement documentation, and compliance with safety standards.
- Ability to address warehouse and supplier issues efficiently and propose solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, logistics team, and internal departments.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, including health and safety standards.
