Job Description
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Advise and assist board members on taking solid financial decisions based on the given data.
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Develop the trends of the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a financial manager (preferably in FMCG)
- CMA or MBA are a plus.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Experience using ERP softwares is a plus.
