Job Description
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in diesel and gasoline powered vehicles.
- Perform a wide range of repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls, brake system repairs, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and established protocols.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle, ensuring clear documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide updates on progress.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working on diesel and gasoline powered vehicles.
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, electrical systems, and automotive mechanics.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
