Job Description
- Managing the needed Lubricants, and spare parts required for repairs according to production priority and condition of equipment within the approved budget
- Reviewing the daily maintenance tasks.
- Managing the daily required manpower to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Professional work on offers (technical part) for all maintenance resources (Lubricants, Spare parts, Hired manpower, and External repairs).
- Technical follow-up and technical receptions of overhauled parts (Engines, Transmissions, etc.).
- Achieve high levels of availability and reliability on equipment lead to maximize the productivity of equipment which will ensure the consistent supply of quality operation.
- Ensure safety rules & regulations are being implemented and safe procedures are being carried out by the maintenance team in his area.
- Plan all spare parts, Lubricants, manpower, and external repairs necessary for preventive and corrective maintenance activities to be available for job execution and prepare the daily program for maintenance works according to the budget which will consequently lead to the consistent operation of equipment and reduce the number of maintenance stoppages to increase the operation availability.
- Study and implement improvements and modifications to equipment in his area
- Coordinate with maintenance planners and maintenance engineers to prepare the monthly budget for his area (spare parts, hired manpower, and services), and follow up on the actual costs charged to his area to avoid any deviations
- Perform inspection of the materials received in the warehouse.
- Study technical offers with maintenance engineer preventive and corrective and review them with purchase requisitions and Clean the backlog of his area according to productivity table rules.
Job Requirements
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Solid experience with the logistics field & Heavy trucking.
- Knowledge of cost accounting as it pertains to Fleet vehicles and maintenance costs
- Professional user of Microsoft Excel.
- 8 years of direct work experience in a heavy to light automotive repair facility as a maintenance manager.
- At least 10 Years of experience leading a team and being responsible for fleet operations.
- Solid Knowledge of trucks/vehicle specifications and applications.
- Solid technical skills with automotive and other motorized equipment, Knowledge of vehicle/equipment specifications and applications.
- Advanced English Language skills.
