Job Description

  • Support in implementing processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Communicates information on the HSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e. TBT, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc.
  • Undertake HSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company.
  • Follows up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
  • Develops, facilitate and review HSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities.
  • Record HSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary.
  • Develops, implements and encourages the behavioral based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
  • Perform daily walk throughs in Egypro FME facilities and in Egypro FME clients’ premises to monitor and promote a safe workplace.
  • Support other HSE staff and contract managers as and when required.
  • Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports.
  • Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his manager.

Job Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience ideally in a similar sector
  • Should be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management
  • External certification of safety expertise is a must 
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation and procedures
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Diligent with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
