Overall purpose of job:
Responsible for building NEMA pricing capabilities & all pricing activities for all TAs. Leading the NEMA Pricing Committee & the NEMA CAC. Supporting the OPCOs in building their pricing strategy specially for innovative drugs & develop clear plans that will optimize revenues across the region and enhance Janssen’s competitive advantage. Managing the NEMA Pricing Specialist.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Pricing strategy activities:
- Conduct yearly review of current pricing and discount strategies and own the process for developing recommendations for the next business planning year
- Provide ad hoc pricing analyses as required
- Chair the NEMA Pricing Committee and the CAC, and engage with the Emerging Markets pricing team, driving strategic pricing dialogue and appropriate governance over price and discount exceptions, signed agreements and general pricing compliance
- Support the NEMA CVTs and the Country Managers/Directors by focusing on product pricing strategy and guidelines in collaboration with the Market Access Manager.
- Support Market Access managers to build the right pricing strategy to get access to all healthcare systems types: Public/Tender, Government Reimbursed, Private Healthcare Insurance, Self-Pay, etc., considering the specific strategic approaches required for each system type.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English, French is a must and Arabic is a plus
- Ideally, experience in pricing, and/or finance, and/or health economics involving strategic planning, quantitative price, and market analysis
- Strong quantitative skills with solid strategic insights
